My collection purchases are based on NEW offerings. Here is the latest CG Clay Car PS-1 from Lionel. Thanks, Ryan, for offering us something we don’t have!

The later style trucks have a square on the knuckle, not sure what that is all about? Also, these trucks SNAP on & off, interesting?

The only production issue I can find is that both doors are warped and the hatch hole meeting the roof area is a bit sloppy.

It’s a great addition to the fleet. The CNW Miller barely car is also a plus as well!

That square bump on the knuckle might be the design fix so the Vietnamese trucks will couple to existing Lionel trucks? Do the couple with older equipment without derailing?

David, you are correct. Thank you for pointing that out. I haven't had derailments in the mix but I had to physically connect the original PS series couplers when using the newer versions. The knuckle on this new version will not close when attaching Atlas O, MTH or Weaver. Just Lionel. So there is still an incompatibility issue.
