What do the members have to say about the R-30 Lionel subway set? Any problems? How does it rate in your opinion?

It's the only subway set I own. I was lured in watching it run at a Lionel display at York a few years ago. The operating doors, sounds & detailed looks got me to buy one in fall of 2011 Allentown Meet. Out of the box it ran well but the doors were jammed on one car and the program switch was backward.
It's one of my favorites. Love the way it goes through the progression of stops. Oddly I've never been on the NY subway system. Good luck, John
I love the set, very few had a door issue out of the box but once ya get though it, their Beautiful.
