Why not up the ante to a GP35/DD35 ABBA?

I continue to put my vote towards:
Scale Mason Bogie (0-6-4T Please)
Scale 4-4-0 American (Maybe an 1897 Baldwin)
Both with Legacy, Sound, Smoke, etc.
I happen to know somewhere in dearborn, MI where BOTH reside and run and would be easy to model....
Well, just scanned this old thread as if I had never sen it before. I did threaten to stop it with my Baldwin 60000, so let's see if it still works:
I stick with my call for a 700 freight car rerun, but submit that the Harriman 0-6-0 or ten- wheeler may be candidates. Neither has been done in die cast ever before. If the purple locomotive above doesn't atop this cold, I will post photos of the Hariman locomotives.
How about a Chesapeake and Ohio E8 and Streamline Cars
Mark Bee: There is a standard gauge (4', 8 1/2") Mason-Bogie in Dearborn? Ford
Museum?
@colorado hirailer
Yes. See Jake's Pictures above. here is another good one of Torch lake....
I'm not into the exotic. I much prefer the mundane, such as this mill gondola, which nobody has ever made. The covers would be a nice option, and give the car even more appeal.
The Baldwin Sharknose diesel locomotives were in the Fall 2013 catalog and the 86' Boxcars are in the 2014 Signature catalog.
Now we have to wait for the factory in China or somewhere to produce the Auto Parts 86' Boxcars this year.
Well, Lionel, did you read all those votes for R&N #425?
In case you haven't picked up on it, your most popular steam locomotive models are those that are still in service: Challenger, 844, 765, 1225, and now the 4014 Big Boy. These locomotives have the widest appeal because they can exist in a "period" layout as easily as a modern day. While 425's blue appearance doesn't fit in the past, it's only a difference in boiler front casting to differentiate between as-built and the current iteration, and there would be buyers for both.
If Lionel offered a SCALE B&M Legacy equipped Ten Wheeler or a SCALE B&M 44 tonner, I'm in. That would also prompt me to buy the Legacy system. I have yet to do that as I currently own no Legacy equipped locos.
Also Reading & Northern covered hoppers.
How about the New Mexico Rail Runner MP36PH and matching commuter cars?

That would be a nice one.
