Well not really; Dad passed away three weeks before their 65^th. Back in 2006 Jim Sutter helped me acquire a model of the MTH Morning Hiawatha. We set it up in the parents living room on the morning of their 60^th anniversary with all the mementos collected during their Honeymoon aboard the Hiawatha back in 1946 . Dad loved that train with the fan driven smoke unit and passenger announcements. We kept it set up for several weeks before Ma insisted it be put away.

Eight years later and Ma’s celebrating the day alone. But she’s still enjoying the Hiawatha running in the middle of her living room.

Thanks Matthew for posting the photo of your parents and the Hiawatha. I hope your Mom is doing well after your Dad's passing. They shared many years together, many more than most couples.
