Thanks, guys!

Alan,
That is a sheet from Michael's. I appears to be rubber, about 1/16" thick, and the rocks are not printed, but sort of embossed. I painted it to look more real (I think). The only issue I had with it was gluing it to the pink foam. I tried several adhesives, and the one that worked best was 3M Super 77, which I sprayed to both sides and waited a few minutes before assembly. It held fine initially, but after a day, a few spots came loose. So I added a small sheet-metal screw (Atlas track screws) at these spots, painted the heads gray, and so far so good. I have yet to attach the inclined road side.

Thanks for looking!

Alex
Alan,

That roll was 18" x 48". The rock pattern as I used was the only one available there. They have other patterns, such as bricks, in smaller rolls. I bought that just before Christmas and it was cheap enough to try. It worked fine.

Thanks!

Alex

PS.
I believe that if I had had a smoother 'pink foam' surface throughout the sides where the rock sheet is, the 3M 77 would have held fine. It is still OK in most places, and I think that where it came loose was where I failed to even and smooth out the cut foam edge.
