Below are a couple of pictures of what I’ve been working on this week. I bought this Marx signal at a train show for $5.00 and have proceeded to spend way too much time and effort on it. It worked but looked a little rough so I ended up disassembling it, repainting it, rewiring it, and since I’d done all that I had to add a B&M logo. I’ll end up using it as a block control/ signal on passing siding and for this it will look good and provide a simple way to control the power to the siding.

Great looking piece of work. I have a couple of these in decent condition so I have kept them as is. It looks to me that that every second you worked on this piece was well worth it.
Pete,
Great job, looks really nice!

Very nice Pete.
It looks very nice. Nice and clean and with great lines. How did you add the B&M logo - is it a decal? It's the perfect proportion for the space.

The logo is a decal that I printed on a laser printer. I'm always looking for interesting logos and when I find one I print a sheet of them . This is one I found on line but it was too pixelated to print well so I had my daughter who is an art major take it to school and clean it up. Soon I'll be doing a B&M boxcar with this logo.
