Below are a couple of pictures of what I’ve been working on this week. I bought this Marx signal at a train show for $5.00 and have proceeded to spend way too much time and effort on it. It worked but looked a little rough so I ended up disassembling it, repainting it, rewiring it, and since I’d done all that I had to add a B&M logo. I’ll end up using it as a block control/ signal on passing siding and for this it will look good and provide a simple way to control the power to the siding.marx signal2marx signal

Very nice job Pete and I like your choice of colors the silver really makes the Logo Pop.

It looks very nice.  Nice and clean and with great lines.  How did you add the B&M logo - is it a decal?  It's the perfect proportion for the space.

The logo is a decal that I printed on a laser printer. I'm always looking for interesting logos and when I find one I print a sheet of them . B AND M UPDATEDThis is one I found on line but it was too pixelated to print well so I had my daughter who is an art major take it to school and clean it up. Soon I'll be doing a B&M boxcar with this logo.
