just put up some new shelving and wanted to see how it works out for pictures so having the 3/16" scale box handy, i thought a side-by-side would be a good test. Sakai vs Marx... i finally had a chance to pick up a Hutton & Pacific set a few months ago. maybe someone can fill in a little history on the Japanese version...
have to give a slight edge to the Sakai locomotive shell with more detail.
i'll have to shoot this again when i come across the D-truck cars which are a little more in line with the Sakai trucks/ wheels.
