TrainDame, Chief Traingineer, Roger Farkash, Traingineers - George Watson & Eugene Kollman head out tomorrow for the annual Berkshire Hathaway Shareholder's Meeting and we did some sprucing up and people planting on the BNSF Layout before it was loaded on a 53 footer truck and off to Omaha.

Roger designed this layout in 2012 and it was actually the very first layout we started and finished in our new (back in 2012) Dallas, McGowan Street Studio. Hard to believe its already been 7 years... surely I can't be 7 years older???? Funny how time keeps going by... faster.... and faster.... and faster!

Any way, enjoy the shots taken in the studio... up close and personal with the "Peeps"

Now here is a real nice scene. Reminds me of many summers ago(early 1980's) when we had a picnic over at my grandparents house. All the family was there, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters. We played ball on the south side of the house which the outfield was by the road(main drag of our sleepy town if you will). Well, no one ever hit it passed the small walnut trees(what would be right field wall I believe) until this time. My cousin John launched a great fly ball heading right towards the road. Unfortunately the ball found a van's window and my Uncle Bill got the bill when the guy turned around to say his window was hit(which was shattered). Needless to say we have always teased John about it and we'd mention it in front of Uncle Bill just to get some laughs. All good fun. Hopefully those kids don't hit any of the engines stopping by. Hate to have the engineneers drop by.

Since it was published in CTT, I have enjoyed the BNSF layout when see it. It is a fun way for the shareholders to see all the BH assets, as well as gets the hobby noticed by some Big Rollers.

Enjoy the weather Dorcie, and yes, wait till your my age, a year seems like a short week anymore, and gets faster every day. I need some brakes and to slow down.
