Are there any Milwaukee Road E9s out there yet? I ordered mine a long time ago, but haven't received them yet. Thanks.

I have not seen them. It is interesting because all the others have been photographed/videoed.
They look like winners in the catalog IMHO
Are they supposed to be in the UP yellow paint job or traditional maroon and orange?

They are in the UP livery. My understanding is that few were produced. If you have not received your pre-ordered set by now, you most likely missed out.
Many hobby stores get their shipments late, either distributor or cash flow issues most likely being the reason, give them a call.

The Milwaukee Road E9's were delivered in the UP yellow paint scheme. They were never painted maroon and orange. The earlier E6 and E7 locomotives, which were delivered in the "lighting bolt" paint scheme, wore maroon and orange in the early 1950's.
I picked up my Milwaukee E9's last week, but they were at my LHS for two weeks before that. Lionel really did a nice job on these.
As I understand it, Lionel did a trial run of built to order with these engines and there are not many to be had.

I have had mine for a month or so
Hardly anyone ordered the E-8/9's and they are all near impossible to find.
We only have two sets left.
Thanks

Here's the catalog artwork from book 2013.
I too reserved this set through my LHS and picked them up a week ago. I recommend calling your dealer to see if they arrived. There is a set of these Milwaukee E-9's on ebay now from a dealer listing them at full MSRP. Seems the UP set was selling out fast.

My Milwaukee Road was on my front porch April 21, Now just waiting for the 4-pack passenger set to show up.
Well I talked to my dealer today and he said they are not in yet. I think I might be S O L. So I am looking around now for a set.
Forrest, I have not idea. Found it on Google. Don
