Missing wire in 265E | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I am currently trying to rewire my 265E, as the insulation was crumbling and a wire broke off. Unfortunately, that wire went to the motor winding, and I cannot find the place where I am supposed to wire the e-unit to the windings (it broke off at the end). Can anyone help me with where to look for it?

The field is grounded on one end To the motor frame. The other side of the field is looped to the black fibre insulator and that lead attaches there.
