I just got a new WBB SD90MAC. I noticed something on the cab. There is plastic glass and windshield wipers! When did WBB builder start doing that? Does that mean W/WBB has variations?

It started on the Alaska RR and the KCS models about a year ago. I guess it's a small step in upgrading the line, and not before time.
I think that WBB is trying to up grade the look of their models. Not to the level of the high end products, that's not their niche. But, a few enhancement will go a long way to dress up a great product while not forgetting their bread and butter business.
At least the new "glass" is better than the older "plastic sheet" they were using for glass. Or NO GLASS as in the SD45's!
