I predict they will only include one Premier car (of two road numbers) that I will want to purchase and absolutely NOTHING else. Please, my wallet needs a break! (And I really need to catch up on some other purchases for my layout so I will have a place to run the stuff they have already enticed me to purchase.)
I predict that there will be little to no new tooling.
They have been good to LIRR fans lately. Hopefully the trend continues.
Longshot- Bessemer F7 ABBA reissue. Missed the first set ~10 years ago. If this would happen I'd buy DCS.
One of these days they will have to come up with some new Euro freight cars to go with the German 2-10-0. Those 4-wheel Swiss boxcars and reefers go great with the Krokodil but they aren't going to satisfy the people who will be ordering the big steamers. However, I don't think it will be this time. Maybe 2016, volume 1.
I think we will see a railking PRR K4s, I wish they'd bring back the operating reefer cars.

Well, I'm going with the "no new tooling" prediction - I think that's pretty solid. Other that that:
- Railking K4S - We're about due for these in PS3 guise
- Railking NYC Empire Express Hudson - Again, due for PS3 rehash
- Premier PRR Mountain M1A/B- been a while for this one from what I can tell
- Premier PRR Mikado - same
- Premier PRR Decapod
- RK and/or Premier B&O E8 ABA
- RK and Premier ES44AC in NS Black
- RK ES44AC starter sets similar to the SD70ACE sets - seems to be a no-brainer
Would love to see RK versions of the T1 or J1a, but that's not gonna happen.
I'm a 2 rail guy and I wish they would do their big steamers/diesels (ie. big boy, allegheny, etc. and that DDA40X) with center drivers/wheels blind. I am planning a layout for this year and although I have room for some wide curves I don't have room for curves that will handle those locos in 2 rail scale. I'm not a rivet counter and don't think blind drivers will hurt the look of those beautiful engines.

Prediction:
They will actually have to make an EJ&E freight car, because they have used up all the other railroads.

Premier 4-4-2 Atlantic?
Southern Pacific 4-6-2 Pacific cab 2472
I have to agree with this prediction, after all I've been asking for the premier version for over 2 years now.
If I had to guess? In Premier

Let's see how close we get.

One option to you. I think Joe F. might be able to turn down a set of drivers to remove the flanges. That may solve your issue? It would be cool if they included them for swapping.
I bet the articulids will do some decent curves as is. My Allegheny does well on my layout. I have to go slow backing thru the yard switches. Every once in awhile, the tender picks the switch. Probably enhanced by the fact that I don't have the switch motors mounted yet.
If they did something new, I'd like to see the ATSF Class 1 "One Spot Twins" aka "Amos 'n Andy" box cabs.
Would also like to see MTH take a shot at prototypically accurate passenger cars.
Would also like to see the GP30's done in CNW livery. Of course, this will happen AFTER I repaint a pair.
I would love to see some Metroliners in PRR,PC and Amtrak livery.
Premier Decapod w/long tender
E2B electric
New rolling stock and accessaries.
Maybe another go at the McKeen Windsplitter? That was cancelled a few years ago due to lack of pre-orders, but I think the reason was more the lousy economy than lack of interest. But this time the list has to include Bellingham Bay and British Columbia (a Milwaukee Road subsidiary).
Thank goodness MTH 2015 Vol 1 gave me a break in the engine buying dept... I'll have my pennies saved for Vol 2.
My wish list as always:
NYO&W ABBA FT Sets (#'s other than 806-807)
NYO&W Single F3 Units (501-503)
NYO&W 44 Tonners (101-105)
NYO&W NW2 (#'s other than 116)Any NYO&W steam, particularly small stuff for my northern division!
As for rolling stock...
NYO&W 40's paint scheme 55 ton coal hoppers
Waddell Coal Hopper #105
NYO&W 8300 Series Cabooses: because running my freights, especially the FT and F3 sets, with a bobber caboose, looks kind of ridiculous.
And all in premier.
I have to agree with this prediction, after all I've been asking for the premier version for over 2 years now.
MTH stated per their Facebook page that there will be NS, and CN Railking Imperial ES44AC's in the 2015 vol 2 catalog. I personally asked MTH a while back for premier CN ES44AC's, and their response was "it's on the list. Keep an eye out in future catalogs." Maybe they will do CN and NS in both Premier/Railking lines for 2015 vol 2. Not just the Railking Imperial ones.
Another Prediction:
They have to make several SCL and Seaboard System freight cars, so they do not repeat railroads again.
Pacific Car & Foundry green 44 tonner.
F7s in one of the Missouri Pacific Lines Eagle blue scheme, MP, T&P and KO&G F7's all wore the same scheme, with the individual road name on its flanks for each road. Dan

A Pennsy N5 cabin car please!!!
My wishlist is pretty much the same too. NS Gevo, doesn't matter if it's the ES44AC or the ES40DC. BNSF ES44DC with the yellow swoosh logo. Even though there is only one, would like to see it in multiple cab#'s. Would like to see them bring back the 6-car sets of mixed freight. Flatcars with modern military loads.

A New York Central Imperial Niagara locomotive.
I had hoped for several engines that did get released, to have 2 rail models (Niagara). I'm still hoping they redo their E series diesel trucks for 3/2. I've got so much that I really don't need much more!
Maybe some more high level detailed freight cars, like the twin stacks and the high cubes are.
Premier Alco HH660 and Railking GBW Alco RS27.
They will not make the SOO LINE SD60 in the first scheme.
They will not make the SOO LINE F7 A-B-A set in the 1960's White, red, black scheme.
They will not make the SOO LINE GP9 in the 1960's scheme
They will not make the SOO LINE GP30.
They will not make the SOO LINE GP35.
They will not make the SOO LINE ACF Center Flow 3-bay covered hoppers in the 1972-1973 Colormark scheme.
They will not make the SOO LINE 60' Flat Cars in the 1963 road numbers and scheme.
They will not make the RailKing modern reefer car in the SOO LINE 1959-1962 style of color and graphics with the blue doors.
They will not make the RailKing PS-2-CD 3-bay covered hopper in graphic scheme used on the MAGOR and TRANSCO 1966-1968 aluminum body hoppers with a Blue Panel and yellow wheat.
Then I will not have to order them and pay for them.
Hopefully a reissue of the Premeir NYC Mohawks!
Premier Alco HH660 and Railking GBW Alco RS27.
I would prefer a GB&W Alco FA or maybe Mikado. Imperial or RK. I only have 036 curves. I have the GB&W Alco S2 and it lives on my layout.
I never know if these threads are for "they will" or "I hope that they will", but
under the "hope" category, I'm still wishing for the Baby-face Baldwins, especially
the double-ended CNJ version (and/or the 2000 HP GM&O version).
The double-enders just need to show up. I'd prefer Lionel (or Atlas...?) for the operating
system, but MTH would do fine. (Too bad about the dummies, these days.)
