A good friend in my many train clubs I belong to wants to sell his Railking Cab Forward than was originally Proto 1 but now Proto 2, he has 21 K-Line PFE and A wood sided K-Line caboose.

For those who have converted their Cab forwards, do the conversion makes the coupler on the tender become Electric?

Next question is what is a good price to buy it? I was hoping it would be in the 300-350 range which I know it will not happen at that price.

If I cant get a good deal with all the Items, how much should I try to get the PFE Reefers?

Thanks

Go to ebay and look at the completed auctions and see what a RK Cab Forwards are selling for.

Same for the Reefers.

I deduct about 10%, the fees sellers have to pay.....ballpark figure for one.

As for what someone else did during a conversion.....only the owner can tell you. No way anyone here knows if it has  a remote coupler on the tender.
