Hi, I have looked for this all over the internet without success. Does anyone have an operators manual for an MTH MT-3018LP? I will be happy to pay for a copy, if you have an iphone or android you can just take pictures of the pages using turbo scan or any scanning program and it will come out great and just email it to me. Happy to pay via paypal for your time and energy. The one I just bought does not have one.

Thank you, is this consistent with all of the MT series trains? So that means that all of the MT's are really 20- trains?

If you are referring to the "operating instructions," the answer is yes. All "protosound" (proto 1) engines have the same instructions. They're the same whether or not they are 20-1234-1 or 30-1234-1. If you have or buy a Proto 2 or proto 3 engine the instructions will be different.

I do not know for sure, purple boxes are Premier and that is 20, Yellow is Rail King at that is 30. The -1 at the end means command or sounds where ar -0 was basic unit with reverse unit and whistle or horn only.
So yes all MT require modify to a 7 digit number. XX-xxxx-X G
