I purchased some old MTH proto 1 engines. I would like to make dummies out of them. How would I go about doing that. I want to keep the lights, sounds, and couplers.

Unscrew the motor from the bottom of the truck. Then remove the motor mount from the motor and re-attach motor mount to the truck.
Just be aware that without the motors the engine sounds will always be at full rev. So you'll need to turn teh volume all the way off, or program them to have no motor sounds.
