MTH single stall engine shed and fastrack | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Does anyone know why fastrack is not compatible with MTH's single stall engine shed? The MTH stall is 4" longer than the Lionel version therefore I would like to use it for a display at my school, but I am using fastrack. Just wondering if the stall could be modified to accept fastrack.

It can be used with fast track. Just cut the fast track down on each side about 1/8 of a inch I believe. I Used a table saw real slow. Mine has been on my layout for years now. I was at the local hobby store last week the new mth sheds have a piece that pops out to accept fast track you just leave it in for real tracks.
