I'm a small layout enthusiast (probably because that's all I have room for).
Great looking layout!

Nice work!
That's what it is all about. No train layout is ever too small. Nice job you two on the layout.

I agree! Nice job And a great bonding experience for you and your son.
Excellent!!
What a fun and rewarding time. I also love the Supersnap track.
I, too, am a small layout enthusiast. Yours looks wonderful.
Visiting my wife's Mom at her townhome in IA. While we have a large unfinished basement where I store much of my collection. Agree with other s though about the value of small layouts. Just spent the afternoon putting up a 7.5 x 5 foot layout using O-36 fasttrak. Running conventional North Pole Central which is geared for small radius curves. Running several operating cars and a couple of locos. I used three 30 inch by 5 foot folding banquet tables, laid out side by side to make a rectangular platform. Works well and I am able to put it up in a loft area in the main living area which is a bit more sociable. Half the fun is figuring out what I can do with minimal space and gear.
Simply lovely...
Great layout, I am sure you had a great time working with your son

My layout is 5x8, and I have no desire for a larger one. I have even smaller layouts in "S" and "N". My motto is "build small but many".
