Recently acquired the set box for my original 1957 set #733.(aka set 1583ws)
Original was long gone. The engine and tender are separately boxed (have both). The remaining cars were not individually boxed. Dilemma is how to fit the cars, track, transformer (separate box), and other knick knacks in the box. Are the trucks on the rolling stock turned couplers in, was it two levels with cardboard separator? Checked the various auction sites but all they show is the contents unboxed.
Inquiring minds want to know.
