Need some Help with my passenger car lighting.

In previous threads that discuss LED strips for lighting passenger cars, there have also been recommendations for Evans Designs. But each time I search their website I find no "strips" whatsoever. I see a couple of bundles with 3 or 4 wired separate  LEDs but nothing like the rolls or "strip" LEDs with resistors and diodes embedded. Am I not looking in the right area of their site?

With the help of Gunrunnerjohn I built and installed my own strips.  Below are links to a few articles on this site that will have you doing it too in no time!  And it was WELL WORTH it!  Lighting is better, and with the capacitors the lights never blink at all!  Its an awesome upgrade!

I would try Royztrains as he make high quality 6 LED boards and they are very easy to install.  I bought 5 boards from him few months ago for my MTH premier heavyweights and installed them. the boards are trouble free and still work great.  I am looking for 2 car add-ons for my The California Limited train and will purchase 2 more boards from Roy.

FWIW, 

I would use the LED/bulbs in your pax cars w/frosted window strips In you pax cars w/full interiors use the lighting strips.

IMO, the LED strips are as easy to install as pre-made boards, and they're certainly much cheaper.  You can do your LED lighting for $3 a car or less.  If you have money to burn, then the $20 + for commercial lighting solutions works fine.

For ready made LED lighting there are three sources: RoyzTrains, Dallee, and Jack Pearce.  Only RoyzTrains has a number of different kits for various passenger car applications.  And he has the lowest cost too!  He was in the Orange Hall down the aisle from 3rd Rail.  www.royztrains.com  Enjoy!
