I have 3 passenger car shells that I got cheap. The reason that they are so cheap is someone did a really bad paint job on them. Anyone here that I can send them too to have the paint stripped? I just want them down to the bare plastic so I can repaint them myself.

Oven cleaner, does a great job and works on any paint I've tried it on. Since I have access to a beat blaster, that's my new method of choice, but if that's not available...
I'd try soaking them in the 91% isopropyl 1st, especially if they have been painted by someone else already. The alcohol should take it right off after a soak and scrub with an old toothbrush.
Forum member rustyrail o scale will blast shells for forum members. I think he use to charge $10 a shell.
Like others, I use 91% ISO alc. and a denture brush to get in the small areas.
