I THINK I want one... maybe even the whole set. But not until I hear about the motor, quality, smoke, sounds etc... Has anyone seen even a stationary sample? A test-run in Concord?

Haven't tried one of the above sets yet but I can speak for the Lionchief Plus 2.0 726 Berkshire. That one is worth taking a look if you are interested in merging the charm of vintage trains with the operation of modern equipment. I have not stopped running it since it showed up!
I picked up this set back in December, I'm quite impressed with it. There is another video in this thread along with some photos:
This is not the 675 but rather its brother 2-6-2 Pennsylvania RR 531 in classic Brunswick Green livery with a handsome slate grey smoke box. Runs and sounds great as it hauls a string of NYC Pacemaker box cars on the Shenandoah Short Line. It’s smooth running capability rivals that of the post-war 675-2025.
