A new member here, one of those S gauge guys that has been supplementing his old American Flyer railroad with some new technology Lionel Legacy Steam and Diesel locomotives.
After waiting over a year to order my new Legacy set, I was a little shocked to see the Red Throttle knob without the White Trim shown in all the advertising.
To make a long story short I have confirmed with Mike Reagan at Lionel, that no Legacy unit has been produced with the White Lionel logo on the throttle as seen in the artists rendition advertising photos.The current set looks exactly like the last run, but with updated Software.
I don't know if anyone else was confused, but I sure was. So I wanted to share the answer I got directly from Lionel.
