I don’t think the car does anything in particular it’s more of a New England thing and might mean more to some of us who live in the area. I would guess that’s why NETCA “New England TCA” decided to make one.     This is a brief history. 

2. They were originally called Toll House Crunch Cookies. Ruth's recipe became instantly popular when it was published in a Boston-area paper, named after the Toll House Inn restaurant that she owned with her husband in Wakefield, Massachusetts.

My apologies on the description. It is indeed a reefer and it is ogauge. These are Lionel cars with final graphics done by RGS Trains.

The NETCA website needs updating for this car. Ordering is the same as all other NETCA cars. Checks in the amount of $107.50  can be mailed to Dennis Ingalls.

A car does not have to have a "operating feature" for me to consider it cool. As Chris mentioned, this is part of New England lore and I love the graphics.
