Back in my Boot Camp days I got to see some South Shore equipment and liked the colors very much. A few years ago I purchased the Little Joe that MTH produced. A while ago, MTH showed heavyweight cars that would go with my Little Joe. Being a passenger car guy, I purchased them. When these arrived last week I took a picture of one as I was very happy with the cars.

Very nice looking.
Very nice Marty! I grew up next to the South Shore and we used to ride it into Chicago from where we lived in Northwest Indiana....

Marty, you are the man when it comes to passenger trains. This is a super addition to your passenger train fleet. I like the color scheme very much.
Nice looking passenger car Marty. I still think some of the best looking passenger cars made by MTH are the "The East Wind" set. I love them!

That's a nice looking car. The MTH passenger cars have been pretty generic. This one is definitely different. I'm wondering if he's phasing in the flex tooling used in the H.O. line for prototype-specific configurations.
Guys, I apologize for the bad photo. I buy a few passenger cars. This set was a real looker and I wanted to share.
Marty,
Look's great, enjoy them!!!!!!
