New Subways??

Yup but they are in HO

Do you happen to know the exact model, and I guess that means no O subways for a while.

My dealer told my HO MTH subways would be released one day didn't believe the hype.

Any idea when?

I really hope they also release models for O scale still.

When Mike Wolf was at the club last Saturday I pointed out to him the BMT Tri-Plex cars on the layout and said this would be interesting model to produce. He had no reply and so we moved on.

Nice to see MTH subways again however even with PS3, there really isn’t anything new.

Looks like more logo-less reissues in which MTA logos can be purchased through I.M.W.

 

I would have thought by now that old style R cars would have been redesigned to true O scale containing lighter trucks, safety chains and different paint schemes.

It would also be nice to purchase front & rear add-on assembly chain kits to retrofit the older RK cars.

The R-142 front chains really give them a finished look which is lacking on all other RK sets.

 

I guess the newbie’s will jump at these but the prior set collectors have all these cars already.

 

Still waiting on the old SIRT cars?
