Attendance was light as expected but plenty of vendors, I thought. Good ones too. Not as much junk. Since I was looking hardest at Standard gauge I will say that there was a lot of Lionel, AF and Ives I saw some modern repro stuff but didn't check it out. I thought prices were decent if you had the $$.  After perusing the big stuff I looked at the O gauge and saw some nice steam engines, a few nice bargains, but there didn't seem to be as many diesels.  For S gaugers I thought there was a lot of American Flyer so no whining.  There was not a lot of HO. Some vendors looked to have the modern  O gauge but they didn't look real busy.  Didn't see as many accessories, track or buildings.  There were at least 3 parts vendors which I liked. With the lighter attendance the aisles weren't as crowded.  Saw several ZW transformers and others but not a whole lot. The O gauge layout was there.  Looking forward to the Nov and Dec meets.

I was very surprised of the DEALS I got!  3413 perfect railings a mint 321 bridge ! A Menards grandpa house and a NOS pa gantry crane which I never could buy off of eBay for the prices I paid!!! I  know from talking a lot of "inside gripping" about the "other show"...But could be at least t his time the vendors where willing to "deal" for the lack of customers or concerns.

I new I would not be or go to the other show But still wondering what deals if any where their.. sure is a shame cause I  think if they had it one week latter I know I would try to find a way to be their..

Only problem they had was the lights went out for @ 3-5 minutes! wonder how did that!!

Good news Greenberg's show in Monroeville Pa  around the bend!

Happy hunting...DANiel

The Pgh TCA show did have light attendance as I expected since there were two shows fairly close.  I talked to Doc a while and talked to Forum member Mark Strittmatter and his wife Cindy.  The only thing I bought was a Railking custom painted caboose for the B&LE to go with my new F-7.  I watched the trains on the modular layout for a while too.

I went with my usual item list of 1: K-line O-27 low-profile remote switches.  As I expected, none to be had.  Somehow spent over $100 anyways!

Fort Pitt is offering a beautiful promo: A miller sign of the Duquesne Incline for only $40 and that included the Desktop base!

When I find anything tin-plate that is affordable to me I am starting to buy that stuff now too.  Found some.

I thought the show would be a waste of time given that the other one was scheduled first.  Good show considering.
