My inside cab light will not stop blinking what is this?

It's probably blinking out an error code.
1 Main drive motor stalled.
2 Smoke 1 element problem.
3 Smoke 1 fan problem.
There are other codes for specific locomotives, those are the common ones. Usually, it's a smoke unit issue from what I've seen, frequently the fan.
It seems like everything is working properly I can turn my smoke on and off and everything else is working fine would there be any other reason and how do u fix it. Thanks
Is it blinking out a specific code? Should be a number of blinks and then a pause. If so, what code is it blinking? What's the exact model number of this locomotive?
It's a Lionel ns70m-2 I am at work right now should be home around 3 I look for how many times it blinks and are these codes in the manual
The blink codes are in the user's manual.
And if I canot Fix would I have to send it back to Lionel
Well, I think you first want to see if you can find out what it thinks is wrong.

Where are the code and it is just a continuos blinking don't see any pause in them. I notice my smoke turned on right when I fired it up I am not sure if it was doing that earlier
If you start the engine with the startup button (lower left on the CAB1), the smoke will come on.
There was a thread about a continuous blinking cab light, but I forget what it turned out to be.
Ok yea that is how I started the engine and continuos blinking light
You have any idea what it could be
Try reprogramming the feature code; Slide the Eng to PRG, select the ENG ID, press SET then AUX1 then numeric 1.
