Just got back in and must say that 2012's event was the best ever. The layout just keeps growing bigger and getting better each year. The new additions of the refinery, huge hotels and monorial were awesome.
When I left I couldn't find them so I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks here to Marty, Bernie, Ben, Jim, Chef Vinnie, and all of the members of the New Jersey Hirailers for their warm welcome and great hospitality. No group that I know of contributes a more positive and fun event for the model railroading community than these folks.
Many thanks to Marty, Bernie, Ben, Vinne and all the rest of the NJ HiRailers for another spectacular event.
I missed the last two events and was amazed at the changes and progress made to the layout. I couldn't believe 6 hours could go by so fast.
A finer club you will not find anywhere. These folks are gracious hosts.
And a nice tribute by Ben for Owen followed by a moment of silence.
It was nice to catch up with some folks that I haven't seen in quite some time.
Even got to spend a few minutes talking with Mike Wolf - a fine gentleman.
And speaking of gentleman, Ed Boyle was also in attendance.
That barely left enough time to actually see the layout. There are some fine folks representing this hobby that we all love.
Thank you again for a very nice afternoon of friendship and trains.
All the best
Bill
Hello all,

Kathy and I had a great time, once again! Thanks to everyone at the club, the food was excellent, Kathy seemed to think, the best ever that she had at the club, right up to the white cake with Owen's image and a WP F-unit!

What a great time for all of us OGR members!!!

See everyone at Spring Thaw.

The Lehigh Valley HiRailers want to say "Thank you!" to the NJ Hi-Railers for hosting this event again. We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the hospitality, Vinny's great food, the conversations, and of course, the trains. You have made a great deal of progress since last year.

The tribute to Owen was especially moving. Well done.

We hope to see all of you in Allentown at the Spring Thaw meet.

Thank you NJ Highrailers for hosting another magnificent Trainstock event and for your gracious hospitality. It is truly appreciated!! Smile Lynley and I really enjoyed ourselves and spent most of the 3 hour ride home talking about the new layout additions and seeing all our friends there, and of course Vinny's marvelous culinary delights.

Hope to see you all at Allentown and/or York!
