Awesome layout, and the wheel flange sounds were neat. Whenever I see a nice two rail layout I think of throwing in the towel on 3-rail, there's no comparison.

The Colorado Model Railroad Museum layout is HO scale and fine work of artistic craftsmanship. It is extremely well organized, presents a logical picture and appears to have many scratch built scale structures on it. My sentiment lies with O gauge artistic modelers, but I can very much appreciate the work, the creativity and the talent that has gone into building this HO layout. It is an outstanding work of model railroad art.

Wellll..... I believe the Colorado Model Railroad Museum (ref. video title) is in Greeley, CO, and is beautifully done.....in HO scale:
There is (was?) a beautiful O2R layout in Denver. Last I heard it was in the basement of the Denver Union Station.
There's also a nice HO and G layout at the railroad museum in Golden, CO, just outside Denver.
So much to see in Colorado!! Vacation season coming!!!

Those guys are true modelers and craftsman.
The scenery and weathering truly make this great scene. It helps it's a UP passenger train!
That is Spectacular!!! Such fine work. I know it is a museum but, it makes one wonder about the benefits of a club layout. Multiple people with multiple skills and talent working together can create such a work of art. Thank you for sharing.

When did this go into the museum? The only time I've ever been there was in the early 90s and I can't recall a layout in there at that time.
But I could have missed it while checking out the 1:1 scale stuff.

The Colorado Model Railroad Museum is in Greeley, Colorado, not Denver. It is HO. I have been there twice and it is incredible.

Awesome job on the part of the video crew. Some of the long panning/ follow shots look like they used a jib on rails, and in other sections, it looks like they used a drone. To which both are much steadier and fluid, than holding a smartphone in hand, and thus does an awesome job of pulling the viewer into the scene, and makes one feel like they are there. The scenicking and micro-details are amazing.
AAA++++ on the layout and production.

Beautiful layout. Thanks for sharing the video. It is too bad that when modelers have the space that they choose HO instead of O 2-rail. O 2-rail would be awesome in a space like this.

So it is HO? Thought it was 2 rail o scale but the track did look a little small in parts of the video.

That was amazing. The craftsmenship, scenery, and "me" looking out of the dutch door watching the scenery. Oh, the sound of the flange squeal, engine sounds, etc. gave me a ride on a Union Pacific streamliner! One of the many trains I never experienced. The camera work was top notch. Thank you!
The camera work was exceptional, to the point that some of the follow/panning appears to be done with a drone, IMO. But I didn't hear the sounds familiar with a drone camera. Again exceptional.
