Just purchased the Menards Tampa Towers and it’s on the way to be put away for the future layout, and also so I get it before its sold out .  What I need to know is a good type material to represent the orange fence netting  that is used at the edge of the upper floors for safety reasons.  I plan on using toothpicks to represent the wood bracings.

Here is an example of one at a construction site adjacent to the Metrorail/Tri-Rail Transfer station in Hialeah here in South Florida.

Anybody have any construction fencing scenes on their layout, Tampa Towers or otherwise, that they can show and also let me know what material (any color) they used?

BTW, member @GLENN L. TAYLOR  used some orange fencing on his Tampa Towers construction site in his post from 2018 https://ogrforum.com/topic/79987520923778870, which is the kind of look that I’m aiming for. I had reached out to prior to Glenn on a different topic and didn't receive a response, but apparently his last visit here on OGR was June 7, 2024.

So my construction safety fencing arrived in the mail today, and it is absolutely perfect with the prototypical holes.  It is 1" tall x 7" long which is to represent 4 feet tall x 30 feet long, and comes 5 to a bag.  Ready to be attached to a set of matchsticks.

I'm going to have some fun here at Menards expense.  Looking closer at the Tampa Towers structure, it exposed the rampant OSHA violations on the site by Menards .  Of the 12 figures at the construction site, only 4 were wearing helmets.  At least Jack the German Shepherd wasn't there otherwise the ASPCA would have been called in .  Menards should know that people figures casually walking on the street aren't the same as those on a construction site.  No biggie, I will be replacing those 8 figures with actual construction figures.  This set is another home run by Menards
