I'm looking for this Lionel part. I know Lionel has it, but I'm loath to pay the high shipping cost for a simple headlight lens. I'm pretty sure this is the same one in a host of steamers that have a pilot mounted headlight, so maybe someone has one in their junkbox?

John, if you can hold off till Tuesday, I’ll look at the shop when I go in.
I'm sure I can wait, I'm doing an LED upgrade, and the lens didn't cooperate with the removal. First one that I've had a problem with, I've done 20-25 of these and usually it pops right out. This sucker did NOT want to come out.
Come on John. What's wrong with paying $10 shipping for a part that could fit on a stamp?
I would have love'd to killed a plastic piece doing repairs. Today I killed one of the Proto 3/2 boards working on a customer's repair. Ouch that hurts the wallet.
Jim
I guess I'm just a cheapskate. If I have to I'll wait until I need other parts.
I've toasted a PS/3 board, so I'm not a virgin in that arena either. It happens occasionally, it's just life.

Just one PS32 board. Turned out it was the piggyback board, so it was a cheap fix.

Thanks for looking, I guess I'll just wait for the next Lionel order.
John what is the lense for? I have a new boiler front for my Lionel Atlantic because the PRR Keystone came off. I can try to get that one out if you like. Would have to find it first still yupacking trains from the move. I am sure you understand that part.
It's for the pilot mounted headlight on most Lionel articulated steamers. AFAIK, the triangular headlight enclosure for them all use the same lens, at least a ton of them do.
