Here's my take on a rework of the Polar Express Observation car from set #6-31690.
Couldn't bring myself to cut to rear doors out and make half rounds.
For the two piece railing/deck - I added a .010 one piece deck to cover the joint line.
Cut off rear steps.
I used a 3mm red led cut down to create the red end light.
I used 0806 SMD led with 2mm holes for the 3 down lights. Filled the hole with epoxy to created a lense.
Added some Evergreen O gauge ladders.
I custom mixed Tamia Medium Blue XF-18 with white to match.
Painted the Vestible and lower deck to match the movie car.
Turned nice for not hacking the rear off and rebuilding.
