I was having issues with my TPCs and of course Lionel was no help.  I purchased 2 Power Master, powered by 2 180 power houses.  I can run either one in conventional but can not get the Legacy to work.  I have 1 legacy engine and other conventional engines running on 2 tracks.  I can run the Legacy engine in conventional but can't power on at full voltage using the boost button.  Lionel now thinks it might be the boost button.

Anybody have this issue?

Thanks

Boost only works to power up to full power in cmd mode.  If in conv, boost momentarily increases power until you release it.  Once released, the power will return to the level set with the knob.  In conv mode to get full power, press Aux1, 9.  There is a switch on the powermaster to set it to command (cmd) or conventional (conv).

We are assuming your power masters are Legacy power masters? Those operate like the TPC's.

In conventional mode, press Aux 1, 8 and you get 30% power to the track and press Aug 1, 9 and you get 100% power.

In command mode, press Aux 1 and boost for full power. In either mode, pressing 0 (zero) and you can remotely turn off the power to the track.

Why Lionel stopped producing the TPC is a question? One of the best products made by Lou Kovach and enhanced by Lionel. You can use a cab-1 or a cab-2 to operate them.
