Good morning

I'm having trouble making a cable to hook these two together. I need the connector to the lionel cable, I looked for the part number that Gunrunner posted and that came up with a 130 matches, does anyone have these in their parts box? or cables already made up I could purchase? need four.

Thank you

Clem k

This is what I used, just cut the center one in two at the spade lugs. You will have two for $15.99   May be hard to find.

This is the one I recently bought.  I was at my LHS buying the MTH Single-stall Engine Shed and saw this hanging on a peg so I got it too.  I was using a 4-connector plug but was afraid the Lionel end would eventually fall out.  Never did but now I feel safer about it.

I'm not too good at cable making, got the McCormick ones a couple years ago. They were only about $10 I think, gone up a little. They are nice and well made. I first tried to get the Lionel set and as you say, hard to find, I couldn't find any. My LHS couldn't get them either, so got the PHTIU's.

Should have added earlier that I have seen these on ebay from time to time as well, don't recall the pricing there.

Hi Dewey

I read your information before and I agree just cut the plug off and install eyes that really is the best, than like you said hook it up to anything. That was my original plan but know, I may not keep these 180's so I want the conversion wire. Oh by the way how do I tell which wire is ground?

Duh!  You're right, I picked the socket and not the plug!  Sorry, wrong gender!  I wonder why nobody called me on that before.  That's the one for the PH180.  The mating one is this one.

This is the one you actually need, the pins are correct for the plug:  Molex 3-pos .093 Plug.

As restitution, email me your address and I'll drop a couple of the correct plug shells in the mail to you.  The pins you have should be correct.
