This has been an excellent loco, except for a major recurring problem.

I have had the fan motor for the stack fail three times.

The whistle motor failed once.

Each time the fan motor had to be replaced.

Have others experienced this problem?

Is there a way to prevent it (besides not running the smoke unit )?

Is this problem showing up in the new version?

Sorry.

I meant the fan motor for the smoking whistle had failed.
