I saw on the for sale forum an item for sale, $494.09!! reminds me of the time I was selling an item and priced it as,

three easy payments of $59.95.

careful gentleman and ladies. I did NOT post this to have it deleted because it turns into a mud slinging match.

I just thought the amount was curious at $494.09. I know why I chose my price of three easy payments of $59.95.

how does anybody choose what to charge. I usually ask for what I think I can get and not necessarily what it may be worth.

as with any sale, it's only worth what you can get someone to pay.
