There have been several posts discussing Right of Way industries recently. Very seldom will you see some of their products surface for sale but here is a PRR Duplex offered. On our only trip to York several years ago I saw one in the Orange Hall that was there for a couple of days and marked down below $500 when I last saw it.
Here's an opportunity to pick one up.

They're interesting models, and among the first - if not the first - T1 models in 3 rail O.
As models, they appear to be sub-par, but I'd love to have one for historical interest - but only if I
found it at a very, very low price - something beginning with a "2".

Admittedly, I've only seen photos of them, and the photos of the current auction item are not good.

The folded QSI board is the reverse unit. The sound is in the tender; I know because I designed it. I agree, however, that it is ancient. We've come a long way.

Sounds pretty crude, alright. I don't mind crude, if it's endearing in other ways.

FWIW,

The ROWI T1 has a really cool flickering firebox that can't be found on any PRR T1 loco to this date!

Thanks, that was when surface mount LED's were just coming out. We had to play around with the luster of the black paint to make it all look realistic.
