Looking at a house in foreclosure today I found the ledge detail around the great room a little odd until I noticed the tunnel going through the fireplace, then the light went off. So for those of you with deep pockets trying to convince the old ball and chain to let you put up an around the room ceiling layout, here ya go. You can even invite your mother-in-law to come live in the outlaws quarters on the third floor to sweeten the deal.
