What is rule 17 lighting? How is it used in the real world? And how does it fuction in legacy. I have the two icons on the touchpad. Was just wanting some clarification on this feature thanks.
Rule 17 is when a locomotive is stopped the headlight will dim to prevent blinding on coming traffic.
In Legacy there are 3 options. On/Off/Auto
You can toggle it on or off or push and hold the TOP icon and it will go into AUTO mode. This mean when the engine starts rolling the light will brighten. When it stops it will dim.
