Has anyone devised a method to secure the 260 bumper to Ross or Gargraves track?
Thanks

If I remember correctly, the 260 has a pin on one side and a set screw on the other side. When using tubular track the combination of the two are backstopped by the last tie. Ross and GarGraves don't have that, so the bumper wants to slide off the end.
I don't use the 260's but rather the inexpensive plastic bumpers also designed for tubular track, which use the same principle to hold them in place. I place track screws behind the bumpers to keep them from sliding.
If you look carefully, you can see them here.
You could do the same with the 260's. Very simple.
Elliot,
Glad to see you doing well! And, thanks for your reply. The issue I have is that there isnt anything on the rear of the bumper that the screw head can press against. I may need to drill a hole in the rear where the dimple is and see about putting a screw in that way. To hold against the track.
Gotta be a better way
I had this issue with Atlas track. I simply got joiners that would attach a short 027 piece to the Atlas track. Then it was easy to attach the 260 bumper If you don't like the look of the tubular track just ballast it. I screwed down the 027 piece securely so as to avoid a human error train flying off of the train tables.
Ajlznd,
What a great idea, it is obviously simple but makes the most sense. Thanks a lot for seeing the tree and not the forest.

These 260 bumpers on trolley/handcar bumper tracks wouldn't stay down for electrical contact so I gave up and zip tied the bumpers to the center rail.
You might want to put a small hole in the side of the rail for the screw to sit in to..

On Gargraves track, I slid the ties apart & was able to have the rear tab fit down enough to hold the bumper tight
