What happens with Signal sounds if the speaker is connected to the SS motherboard without a volume pot? Does it go to full volume, no volume or somewhere in between? Is the volume pot required? I have a SS board that I would like to throw into an older conventional locomotive. There is not currently a spot for a volume pot. I may modify the tender to add a pot or just hide it under the tender shell if it is required.
