I have a Rail King GS-4 part # 30-1119-1 that needs smoke unit replacement gaskets and a new wick. The burnt orange gasket is part # 1B0000006 and the black rubber gasket is #1B0000024-25. I can't find where I can go to order these parts and would appreciate any suggestions.

Try an MTH dealer or just wait a little longer for the new MTH parts dept to open.
Can you make your own gaskets?
The 1B-0000024 is pretty easy to make.
However the IB-0000006 is a bit more challenging.
@gunrunnerjohn John, I know the units are small, is it doable to tap the holes with a small ballpeen hammer like I do on gaskets for my classic cars engines and carbs?
I've tried that as I made many gaskets long ago and in a land far away for cars. I'm sure it's possible, but you'd need a really small ballpeen hammer for this job! Better would probably be something like Permatex® Form-A-Gasket®, but I've never tried it.
I must be sitting on a gold mine, I bought a bunch of these gaskets (1B0000006) years ago from MTH and have only used a few since that time. When it comes to the 1B0000024 gasket, those somehow are always lost and I just remake them as GRJ suggested.
I think it should be possible to reproduce them if absolutely needed with a simple gasket sheet if you had a unused original gasket as a template.
@Ed W contact me with the email address in my profile, and I'll see about getting you the needed 1B0000006 gasket!
Thank you.
I will send you an e-mail showing my address. Since you said in the forum that you had a bunch of the 1B0000006 gaskets, can you sell me more than one? I guess like you I though it was a good idea to have a backup.
If I was to make the 1B00000-24, what is the appropriate material to use?

That's no problem Ed, I can send you a couple. Just drop email me your mailing address and I think they will still go out today. It looks like Brasseur also has them in stock for sale.
To make your own, I'd look at getting some universal gasket sheets from Fel-pro of the correct thickness and then it should just be a matter of tracing & cutting them.
I measured the exact dimensions for the IB-0000024 for those who want to make there own. I don't think the type of material you use will matter too much.

You should be able to easily cut that pattern out with a small pair of sharp scissors.

The -25 on the rubber gasket p/n means a quantity of 25.

Hi Gunrunner I have used Permatex form a Gasket and it works extremely well I highly recommend it and very easy to work with !

I would suggest Permatex Red High Temp gasket compound. Silicone base it makes it easy to remove the part again. I use it on motorcycle valve cover gaskets and oil pan gaskets. The blue stuff will work too but the red is specifically for higher temp applications. No need to try and cut your own.

I have that in the closet as well, I've used it a couple of times, but I prefer the factory gaskets when I can get them.
H1000,
Did my e-mails with address get through to you OK?
