I could benefit from some suggestions. I used yellow carpenter's glue to create a stronger base for some signal bridges. Now that I want to remove the bridges, the carpenter's glue seems impervious to water. What could I use to soften it up and make it pliable for the removal of the bridges so I don't have to cut them out? Paint thinner? Thanks

Might be useful to know what the materials involved are - what are the bases made of and what are they attached to - might be easier to mechanically excise them and clean everything up thereafter for re-use.  Carpenter's glue can be exceptionally stubborn stuff depending materials involved.
