So I was doing a video on the new Station Sounds Diner car for my ESE set. The car itself works fine. However when you create a train (lashup) with the ESE Engine and the Diner car, you are suppose to be able to use the Train Link button on the remote to switch between the Engine Icons and the Diner Icons. This lets you quickly switch icon menus without having to switch Engine ID's (between engine and Diner car ID's). When I hit the train link button the menu for the SS Diner will be incorrect sometimes. It may show a generic engine menu, or just a numbered menu. Then if I switch back to the engine it will show the wrong icons sometimes. Sometimes they are reversed and the engine menu shows the SS Diner icons and the SS Diner shows the engine icons. If you keep hitting the button eventually it will hit the correct menu. It's all over the place. Even though the icons are wrong if you select one of the 0-9 buttons that usually has an icon it will still do the correct action. Its just the icon displays that are messed up.
The SS Diner has some very unique icons (picture of a station, picture of a microphone, etc) so you can tell right away the icons are wrong.
Can someone else who purchased the diner car create a train and try the train link button and let me know if you have same issue? I followed the instructions exactly that came with the car.
You must be on Legacy 1.6 for these diners.
