I have added all the current LCS modules to my layout and will connect the DCS system into my SER2 this weekend once I Get the correct cable. While not a big app fan, I hope to be able to use my setup to troubleshoot issues folks have on the forum with LCS and some of the Legacy / DCS app issues. I really like the technology when used to drive accessories, switches, and blocks. I am also going to be using the High Rail App to configure my LCS Sensor Tracks and run some Legacy engines. Unfortunately the layout did not go up as fast as I hoped so I only got to use the technology sparingly but that is about to change.

Thanks for setting this all up. I assume there is no CSM2 in the setup as you are using FasTrack? Looking forward to your discoveries/advice.

Not at present. Sorry.
Right now I have a WiFi, SER2, ASC2, STM2, and BPC2 modules. I will add more as I see the need. I am going to get a second ASC to hit up some accessories.
You need an AMC2 to get some motors spinnin'!
Cool Marty, you have the whole kit there!
I guess I need to find some motorized accessories. I have a few PW I can dig out.
Unfortunately for the LUG Demo Board, it gave it's life so that my layout may live...
RIP Demo Board. You served us well. Don't fret little buddy. We can still have a LUG meeting without you. The SER2 held on as long as it could. But dang that floor looks good!

Pretty fancy floor for a train room!

Better than concrete.
Added my WIU pic to the first post. I also need to pick up a small AC transformer to supply the modules. Right now I am using a ZWL output but would rather have it on it's own.
Marty, another element for a full compliment of elements, consider adding (when available) IRV2, DM TMCC buffer as well. Always interested in people's experiences with this stuff as I've invested quite a bit so far myself. Rebuilding my layout since the Harvey Flood in 2017 and right at the point of getting all this stuff working together again.
Good stuff!
Really looking forward to seeing what LCS can do. I think it's something I might be interested in, but I'm having trouble imagining its full potential. Also wondering how it compares to "JMRI" which is sometimes used in the 2-rail world with DCC. Thanks in advance for sharing!!
Added some more switches and programmed the STM2 so the iPad updates properly. It's really fun watching routes fire.
Marty,
What did you use underneath your track? Does it keep down the noise?

Nothing. It's noisy as all that but since I knew this was a temporary layout I didn't waste resources for noise abatement.
