On behalf of the Lionel Collectors Club of America's volunteer Board of Directors, officers and appointed officials, I want to extend our sincere appreciation to the men and women who are serving or have served in our armed services.   Without your dedication, sacrifice and commitment, we would not be able to experience the everyday way of life that we have in this land of Freedom and opportunity.  Thank you for your service to protect and defend this great country of ours.  We are grateful to live in a country where we can freely enjoy our Lionel trains and our hobby?

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Blizzard conditions today, so celebrated by doing laundry and reading some Sherlock Holmes. After more than 4 1/2 decades, bravado is long gone, supplanted by introspection ever hazier memories.
