Hi Alan. Im in the process of adding an Elevated station for my EL and found a staircase arrangement similar to what you used but made by MTH, price was only 39.95. I'm contemplating kitbashing it for my needs. I tried making my own from various products such as plastruct and was just too labor intensive.

Thanks,

Hi Jim...again, if it weren't for you taking care of my special needs on my "EL" project, it would have been much more difficult.  I appreciate you being able to do custom work for my particular situation.

The MTH stair will work as well as the Lionel version.  I just happened to have them on hand at the time.

Thanks,

Alan

I also used a modified Lionel pedestrian walkway for my elevated trolley line.  It makes for a nice stairway and platform and doesn't take up to much room.  Like Alan's photos show, the style goes great in a city scene.  For mine, I had to ad more railing so I used styrene.  In case you need to paint, Testors Silver model paint was very close to the original color...that is what I used.
