Jim R. great report on Mr. Menard! A TCA member no less. Now it all makes sense. I love the idea of them sending out the catalog and it makes sense it is in a magazine that is based in Wisconsin. Who will be the first to get an interview with him?!! Could make a fantastic article.
Anybody notice a single dome tank car is being offered in Frisco and most likely more road names in the future.

A lot of it is, however the boxcars are a scale 40' size, the only size difference between them and my Lionel Vision Line PFE Reefers is about 1/8" narrower for the Menard's boxcars. The 14" flatcars are also scale with sprung trucks, and a great deal at $25/ea.
Standardized display layouts at Xmas might be a nice loss leader.

Beings my Birthday is Saturday Nov. 3rd I just went to Menards website to order 5 or 6 cars and every single one is not in stock till 12/10/18.
Oh well they will make a nice Christmas gift for ------------ME!!!!!

Happy birthday Dave. Same thing here. I wanted to order a couple of cars but it looks like a few more weeks before they have them in stock. 🎄

Thanks Jim for the reply. From what I recall, the Williams cars and 6464's don't match up too closely proportionally.
No biggie. Just day-dreaming.
Andre
Menards boxcars are very close to scale sized, only slightly narrower. The 6464 cars are considerably shorter.
