Done a few custom McCoy beer cars and have pretty well had my mind set on color. Working on a Longboard Lager car and went in thinking dark brown for the doors and roof. Now I am wondering if a tan color would be nicer. Whatcha think?

Steve,
When looking at the car the Kona Brewing sticks out. The graphic to the right kind of gets lost against the brown, I would recommend making the roof and door the yellow color that's outlining the image on the right. It will help it POP out. Just a thought. Looks nice!

I would go with a dark reddish brown or maroon for the doors and roof. Orange is a tough color to coordinate and dark, reddish shades tend to work the best. A red-brown would go better than a straight brown, I think. I disagree with Sunrise on this one - I think the yellow would tend to wash out the overall effect, unless you used a very strong and saturated yellow - much stronger than the yellow around the Longboard logo. Or maybe even a mustard color.
Another thought would be to use the exact shade of dark green on the Kona Brewing logo. Green and orange is a very difficult combination to make work, but that shade of green seems to work with the orange.
I was thinking the same thing...or the tan color of the sand in the image. Whatever you decide, be sure to post some pics of the finished product!

My sense is that the terra cotta of the body is already pretty dark, you need something lighter to set it off.
I think the tan would look better.
Ok, the beach style logo is not set off nicely by Rust-Oleum Sand.
I like it. STEAM WHISTLE PREMIUM PILSNER is next.

I am still with Southwest on this one. A dark color will draw the eye to the advertising, which is the car, in this case. Reddish brown or the Kona green.
The tan makes me look at the roof and the door. Now, I want to see wood seams and bolt heads. They are not there.
I would go with orange to offset that shade of brown.

Now that one is going to be awesome!
