I have an old first edition TIU that I recently upgraded to 6.1. When I restarted it after unplugging the serial cable and stereo cable, I noticed the LED blinks twice now when its powered up. When I try to communicate with it to do a reset or address change, I get a "TIU ERROR" message. I did a second upgrade thinking maybe something may not have uploaded correctly and it's still the same. I opened it up and re-seated the transceiver board and also tried a second remote. Still no luck. I then tried connecting directly to the TIU with a curly phone cord. Still no communication. My remotes are all 6.1. Changing the remotes address's to 2 doesn't work either. This TIU worked OK before the upgrade but was sitting boxed up for a while. It does send out a watch dog signal with no problem. What else can I try? Remotes seem to be useless with it.
